Taiz’s General Mobilization’s Social Unit Commemorates Martyr Leader

Taiz: A commemorative event honoring the anniversary of martyr leader Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi was held on Thursday in Taiz province, organized by the General Mobilization’s Social Unit, the Zakat Office, and the Tribal Affairs Authority.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Shura Council members, Yemeni Scholars Association representatives, and local officials, and it focused on the martyr leader’s Quranic project. Abdulekah al-Junaid, speaking on behalf of the local authority, highlighted al-Houthi’s courage and connected Yemen’s recent support for regional causes, including Palestine, to his vision.

Shawqi Mughlis, director of the Zakat Authority branch, emphasized the leader’s sacrifices and mobilization efforts against foreign influence, particularly U.S. and Israeli, noting the connection between his work and Yemen’s current support for Palestine.

Abdullah Obaidan, a social official, reiterated the importance of the leader’s Quranic vision in liberating minds and unifying the nation. The event served as a tribute to the martyr leader’s legacy and his commitment to Yemen’s sovereignty and regional justice.
