Dhamar: The Technical and Vocational Education Sector in Dhamar Governorate, along with its affiliated institutes, organized a commemorative event on Saturday marking the annual Martyrs’ Day under the slogan: ‘The Culture of Jihad and Martyrdom: A Shield Against the Enemies’ Conspiracies.’
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Mohammed Abdul-Razzaq emphasized the importance of commemorating the Martyrs’ Day to honor the greatness of their sacrifices, which have brought victory and dignity to the nation. He highlighted the virtue of martyrdom, the esteemed status of martyrs in the eyes of God, and their respected position in society.
He also stressed the importance of instilling the culture of jihad, martyrdom, and continuing along the path of the martyrs in defense of the homeland and the nation’s causes.
Ahmed Al-Jarfy, head of the Technical and Vocational Education Sector in the governorate, described the Martyrs’ Day as a tribute to the extraordinary contributions of men who exemplified the highest forms of sacrifice and devotion. He noted that the achievements and victories of the Yemeni people are the direct result of the martyrs’ sacrifices and heroic deeds.
In a statement on behalf of the institutes, Mahmoud Abdul-Razzaq pointed out that commemorating the Martyrs’ Day reaffirms the Yemeni people’s bond with those who gave their pure lives to free the nation from the domination of global arrogance and the agents of the Zionists and Americans.
