Sanaa: Telecom Yemen and CAC Bank advanced to the semifinals of the ninth Yemeni Telecom Corporate Football Championship, organized by the Corporate Companies Union under the sponsorship of Telecom Yemen. Telecom Yemen secured a narrow 1-0 win over Facilities Police, with Ismail Aqlan scoring from a penalty.
According to Yemen News Agency, defending champions CAC Bank came from two goals down to defeat Military Cardiac Center 4-2. Mufeed Al-Rouhani and Abdulrahman Al-Musharfi put the center ahead, before Mutlaq Al-Aidi, Ali Al-Mutri (two goals), and Zakaria Al-Ayani completed CAC Bank's comeback.
The quarterfinals conclude Sunday with Yemen Mobile facing the Zakat Authority, while the Ministry of Youth and Sports takes on Floosak Wallet. The winners will face Telecom Yemen and CAC Bank, respectively, in the semifinals.
