IBB: The Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Telecommunications Corporation (GTC), Engineer Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mahdi, inaugurated the VIP sales and service lounge in Ibb city alongside the Secretary General of the Local Council in Ibb province, Amin Ali Al-Warafi.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Mahdi and Al-Warafi, accompanied by Yemen Mobile Chairman Dr. Essam Al-Hamli, were briefed by the Director General of the Telecommunications Corporation’s branch in Ibb province, Muhyiddin Al-Mansouri, about the new equipment installed to cater to VIP customers. The inauguration marks a significant step in enhancing customer service capabilities in the region.
During the inauguration, the Minister highlighted that his visit to Ibb was to monitor the progression of various telecommunications projects aimed at expanding services in the province’s center and districts. He emphasized the ministry’s commitment to delivering comprehensive telecommunications services to the densely populated province.
The Minister also reviewed the ongoing construction of Yemen Mobile’s main service center in Ibb city. He urged project coordinators to adhere strictly to the technical specifications and timelines set for the project, underscoring its importance in streamlining service delivery to the local population.
