Sana'a: The Ministry of Telecommunications and its affiliated bodies on Wednesday held a celebration marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Deputy Minister of Telecommunications Eng. Ali al-Makni emphasized the shared joy within the telecommunications sector and the Yemeni people in commemorating the Prophet of mercy and humanity. He highlighted Yemenis' prominent role among Arab and Muslim nations in honoring this occasion and expressing their love and loyalty to the Prophet.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Makni pointed out that the celebration coincides with Yemen's ongoing support for Gaza and the Palestinian cause, reinforcing the people's commitment to their faith and the righteous path established by the Prophet. He expressed that the event symbolizes a sense of pride in belonging to the Messenger who guided humanity from darkness into light.
Speakers at the event underscored the profound connection between the Yemeni people and the Prophet, noting that commemorating his birth serves to revive Islamic teachings and values. They portrayed the Prophet as history's greatest leader, revered for his courage, justice, and his ability to build a strong and just society.
