Sana’a: The Province Tenders Committee, led by Governor Abdul Basit Al-Hadi, convened to deliberate on issues concerning the implementation of several projects focused on improving basic services, enhancing infrastructure, and developing vital sectors in the province.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by the province’s local secretary general, Abdul Qader Al-Jilani, and administrative body members Abdul Salam Al-Jaifi, Mahyoub Mahdi, and Ali Al-Suhaili, evaluated the proposals submitted by the committee responsible for acquiring equipment for the executive unit. This unit is dedicated to the construction, maintenance, and development of roads and public areas within the province. During the session, the committee approved the purchase of a diesel whitewash valued at 11 million and 900 thousand riyals, an asphalt boiler also worth 11 million and 900 thousand riyals, a caterpillar dirt rake priced at 21 million and 75 thousand riyals, and a roller (1.6 tons) costing 3 million and 161 thousand riyals.
Governor Al-Hadi highlighted the necessity of completing all procedures and conditions, as well as ensuring the technical team’s responsibility in executing the projects within the designated timeframe. This is crucial to guarantee the effective utilization of the allocations approved in the plan.
Al-Jilani, the Secretary General of the Local Council, underscored the significance of activating the role of accompanying control in the execution of service projects. This effort aligns with the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council, aiming to achieve sustainable local development.
