Al-qabbaytah: The Al-Qabbaytah District in Lahj Governorate today witnessed three large popular rallies under the slogan 'Steadfast with Gaza: Jihad and Perseverance to Confront the Most Heinous Genocide and Vile Conspiracies,' in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants, including Deputy Governor Faisal Al-Faqih, the governorate's Public Mobilization Officer Jamil Al-Sufi, along with military and security leaders and social figures, carried banners and chanted slogans condemning the continued massacres and crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against their brothers in the Gaza Strip, backed and covered by the United States, the West, and facilitated by Arab and Islamic complacency.
They affirmed that the Zionist-American enemy's mobilization of its agents inside and outside the region against the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon is part of a broader plan targeting the free peoples of the nation. The rallies also condemned Zionist assaults on Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing them as part of the so-called 'Greater Israel' scheme, which is being met with troubling silence from the peoples of the Islamic nation.
The people of Lahj affirmed their high state of readiness to confront enemy plots aimed at the internal front, praising the Yemeni Armed Forces' operations deep inside the Zionist entity and their imposition of a naval blockade on occupied ports. They called for an escalation of operations until the aggression ends and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
A statement issued from the rallies reaffirmed Yemen's steadfast and principled position alongside Gaza, Palestine, and the holy sites, and with the resistance that is making the ultimate sacrifices in defense of the entire nation against the most atrocious crimes of this era perpetrated by the Zionist enemy and its American partner.
The statement called for strengthening the resistance's armaments in Palestine and Lebanon, which today stand as a barrier against the enemy's brutal genocidal and exterminationist crimes, confronting its extreme expansionist drive fueled by hatred and bloodlust, and preventing - for now - the spread of its crimes to other countries. It stressed that this is an urgent necessity requiring collective action, warning that neglect or complacency will exact a heavy price from all, inflict immeasurable losses on the nation and humanity, bring eternal shame, and invite severe consequences both in this world and the hereafter.
It strongly rejected the scheme openly declared by Zionist war criminal Netanyahu regarding the ambitions of the global Zionist establishment to implement its so-called 'Greater Israel' project - a plan that reveals the Zionists' intent to take full or partial control over several Arab countries, including Makkah and Madinah, the holiest sanctuaries of Islam.
The statement warned against any moves by regimes, governments, or groups that serve the enemy's designs to target the peoples of the nation, denouncing the continued provision of support and services to this criminal enemy by some regimes, including sending ships loaded with goods and weapons, and entering into economic deals with it.
