Sana’a: The Traffic Police launched on Sunday a project to distribute Iftar meals and dinner to its members in the Capital Secretariat, Sana’a province, traffic police, road traffic police, and drivers as part of its Ihsan campaign. The initiative aims to support officers and drivers during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Yemen News Agency, the traffic police also distributed 700 Iftar and dinner meals to the security of the Capital Secretariat, security zones, and police stations affiliated with it. This effort is part of a broader project, which will continue throughout Ramadan, aiming to distribute 15,000 Iftar meals to drivers and road users in streets, tours, and crossroads. The initiative is designed to reduce traffic accidents that occur before Iftar due to excessive speed.
The project emphasizes the importance of distributing Iftar meals and dinners to traffic personnel working during Iftar time in various streets and intersections. These efforts highlight the tasks of traffic officers as a form of charity, aiming to serve citizens by facilitating traffic and ensuring the safety of road users.
The Director of Traffic Police urged drivers and road users to cooperate with traffic officers and adhere to traffic instructions to ensure everyone’s safety, wishing all good luck and safety during the holy month.
