Sana’a: The Director General of Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, has instructed the Capital Secretariat Traffic Department to implement a new mechanism that enables owners of buses, currently held in traffic centers, to pay their traffic violation fees in installments.
According to Yemen News Agency, Major General Al-Barashi explained that these measures are part of the Ministry of Interior’s directives, following the recent announcement by the Traffic Police. The announcement included a reduction in fees for old traffic violations and an exemption from late renewal fees for driving licenses. These initiatives aim to alleviate the financial burden on vehicle owners and streamline the process of reclaiming seized buses.
