Sana'a: A five-day training course on inventorying and documenting government assets, properties, and warehouses concluded in the Capital Sana'a.
According to Yemen News Agency, the course was organized by the General Administration of Development Research and Training and aimed to qualify 30 employees from procurement departments in documenting and overseeing government assets to optimize resource use and enhance institutional efficiency.
At the conclusion of the training, Dr. Mohammed al-Junaid, Director of the Finance Office, emphasized the importance of capacity building in asset and warehouse management. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Finance's goals of fostering unified concepts, skill development, and transparency in public fund management.
Abdullah Al-Kool, Director of Development Research and Training, highlighted that the course aimed to reduce errors, provide accurate data, ensure proper use and preservation of equipment, evaluate storage, and develop the skills of custodians and storekeepers.
