Al-jawf: A specialized training course in occupational safety, firefighting, rescue, and evacuation, organized by the Civil Defense branch, concluded in Al-Jawf Governorate. Over four days, representatives from 13 directorates participated in an intensive theoretical and practical training course on the fundamentals of public safety, proper procedures for handling fires in homes and buildings, the use of fire extinguishers, safe evacuation skills, rescue operations, and providing first aid to the injured in emergencies.

According to Yemen News Agency, officials from the mobilization and Civil Defense branch explained that the course was part of a strategic public mobilization plan, implemented in cooperation and coordination with the branch, to empower local communities and enhance their preparedness for disasters. The aim was to transform citizens into active participants and supporters of rescue teams, ensuring the protection of lives and property in the immediate aftermath of any emergency.

They emphasized the importance of strengthening community awareness and linking faith with practical responsibility in serving the community. They considered training residents of isolated neighborhoods and districts to be the "first line of defense" in minimizing human and material losses and creating a trained community core to support the official Civil Defense.
