Sana'a: A training course for female staff at the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development on public policy formulation began on Saturday, organized by the Women's Development Sector of the ministry. Over the course of five days, the initiative aims to equip 25 female leaders and staff members with the essential concepts and mechanisms of public policy formulation, community participation, and local development.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Halima Jahaf, Deputy Minister for the Women's Development Sector, explained that the course is an integral part of the ministry's efforts to enhance the capabilities of female staff, ensuring their active participation in administrative and developmental processes. During the opening session, which was attended by Assistant Deputy Minister for the Sector Fatima Al-Khatri, Jahaf highlighted that the program is designed to strengthen women's leadership and administrative skills.
Jahaf emphasized the significance of developing and building women's capacities to enhance their role in local and rural development. She underscored the ability of women to be productive and effective in all fields, which the training seeks to support and nurture.
