Training Program Enhances Administrative Capacities in Marib

Marib: A training course aimed at enhancing the administrative capacities of the boards and executive managements of the Al-Abdiyah and Jabal Murad Agricultural Cooperative Associations in Marib Governorate concluded today at the Bonyan Foundation and Academy for Training and Qualification in Sana'a.

According to Yemen News Agency, the program was organized under the cooperative associations initiative and funded by the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in Marib, in cooperation with the agriculture sector, the Office of Social Affairs, the Agricultural Cooperative Union, and local authorities.

At the closing ceremony, Marib deputy governor for Development Affairs Daris Al-Maoudhi described the qualification of cooperative association personnel as a key pillar for strengthening institutional performance and enhancing the role of cooperatives in serving local communities and supporting development efforts.

For his part, agricultural cooperative union secretary-general Mohammed Al-Qahoum stated the program reflects a shared vision between the Bonyan Foundation and the union to empower cooperatives to lead sustainable agricultural development, contribute to self-sufficiency, and boost national production.

Meanwhile, Marib director of the office of social affairs and labor Hussein Abu Nab and agriculture sector official Fares Al-Qanasi emphasized the importance of cooperative work and community participation in advancing agricultural development, supporting the national economy, and achieving greater levels of self-sufficiency.
