Hajjah: Hajjah University organized a training workshop for automated system officers from its colleges and centers. The workshop, attended by the Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Abdo Sahloul, along with deans, vice deans, and the university registrar, aimed to enhance performance efficiency and unify registration and enrollment procedures through the electronic portal.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Sahloul emphasized the university's commitment to improving administrative and academic processes, facilitating student procedures, and minimizing errors that may affect their data within the central system. Meanwhile, the Director of the Automated System, Eng. Yasser Al-Wadaei, provided an overview of the electronic portal 'Automated Registration System' and trained system officers on operational mechanisms and ways to address key issues faced by the Student Affairs sector when closing enrollment and registration records at the Information Technology Center of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.

He also highlighted the authorities granted to system officers in colleges and centers, including registering and confirming all listed cases and transferring students between specializations within the same college during the portal's opening period under the same system (regular, parallel, and self-financed), as well as between colleges in cases of matching specializations, such as transfers between the Faculty of Medicine and the Training Center in Emergency Medicine.

The workshop further reviewed the mechanisms for registering and confirming students using both methods 'A+B,' as well as registering graduates from Yemeni regions under Saudi and UAE control or from abroad, in addition to those who obtained new qualifications after completing secondary education.
