Taiz: A training workshop was held in Taiz Governorate focusing on the preparation of integrated and participatory developmental plans for the three years 1448-1450 AH, as well as the governorate's strategic and operational plan for 1448 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop aimed to equip 35 trainees, including cooperative association officials from various districts, with skills in the methodology of the integrated developmental work model, situational analysis, comparative advantage, value chain studies, and the operational mechanisms for plan preparation.

The workshop, attended by Deputy Governor for Development Affairs Abdulwasea Al-Shamsi, Director of the Agricultural Cooperative Union Majid Al-Athouri, Executive Director Amer Al-Ahdal, and Workshop Coordinator Faez Al-Mushki, reviewed the operational mechanisms for preparing the 1448-1450 AH strategic plan and the 1448 AH operational plan. This included multiple stages, beginning with forming teams and researchers, updating and completing situational studies, and conducting field verification of the current situation through field researchers.

The workshop also covered the preparation of developmental reports, the final plan, and mechanisms to unify and coordinate efforts under integrated planning.

Two field workshops will be conducted alongside the plan preparation, involving community participation and the private sector, aiming to identify real developmental needs and projects directed toward achieving self-sufficiency.
