Training Workshop Launched to Develop 1447 AH Plan in Ibb Governorate

Ibb: A training workshop focusing on the executable mechanism for preparing the 1447 AH plan and updating development reports at the governorate and district levels commenced at the National Institute for Administrative Sciences in Ibb Governorate. The event, which began on Monday, May 19, 2025, is being attended by 105 planning officials from various executive and local authorities.

According to Yemen News Agency, the two-day workshop aims to improve the efficiency of participants in drafting development plans following directives and priorities. It also seeks to strengthen the role of local authorities in service improvement and the establishment of a faith-based identity.

During the opening session, Mohammed Al-Shubaibi, the governorate's deputy, highlighted the significance of planning in achieving developmental goals. Dr. Ali Al-Hakimi also addressed the gathering, noting that the success of administrative processes hinges on the quality of planning, particularly during crises, and acknowledged Ibb Governorate's exemplary performance in last year's evaluations.

Kamal Al-Harithi, a planning sector official, outlined the main components of the new plan, which encompass the faith-based identity, economy, education, services, health, and social care. He emphasized the necessity of setting developmental priorities based on the actual needs of each district.
