Sanaa: Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, accompanied by his deputy Yahya Al-Sayani, visited the tombs of martyrs, including President Saleh Al-Samad, Prime Minister of the Change and Construction Government Ahmed Al-Rahawi, and Chief of the General Staff Major General Mohammed Al-Ghamari. The visit took place on Monday and was attended by leaders from the ministry and its affiliated bodies.
According to Yemen News Agency, the officials laid wreaths on the tombs and recited the Fatiha, the opening chapter of the Quran, in honor of the martyrs. They highlighted that these individuals sacrificed their lives for the cause of God, the defense of their homeland, and in support of the Palestinian people and Arab and Islamic causes.
During the visit, Minister Qahim emphasized the importance of steadfastness and commitment to the principles and path laid down by the martyrs. He declared that their sacrifices would lead to victories and the restoration of the rights of the Yemeni people. The minister also stressed that there would be no retreat or silence concerning Saudi actions against Yemen, asserting that the struggle for rights would continue regardless of the sacrifices involved.
Deputy Minister Yahya Al-Sayani also paid tribute to the martyrs, highlighting their significant stature. He affirmed the commitment to follow their path of faith and jihad, pledging to continue the struggle against the forces of arrogance and the ongoing battle for liberation and sovereignty.
