Sanaa: Transport and Public Works Minister Mohammed Qaheem has extended his congratulations to Revolution Leader Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, on the 11th anniversary of the 21st September Revolution. Minister Qaheem expressed his personal congratulations, as well as those of the Ministry's leadership and staff, to the Revolution Leader, the Supreme Political Council members, the armed forces, security personnel, and the Yemeni people on this significant national occasion.
According to Yemen News Agency, the minister underscored the importance of the 21st September Revolution in achieving freedom, independence, and unity for the nation, while rejecting foreign control and influence. He highlighted the revolution as a critical national event, addressing the erosion of the country's fate and the threat to its values. The revolution, according to Minister Qaheem, was essential in rescuing Yemen from projects of subjugation and dependency.
Minister Qaheem pointed out that the revolution prevented the imposition of normalization with Israel, which would have been enforced in line with American directives. Instead, it maintained Yemen's strong support for Palestine and its cause, rooted in religious, humanitarian, and legal principles, until the occupation is ended.
He remarked that the revolution marked a pivotal moment in Yemen's history, restoring the people's dignity, enhancing resilience against aggression, and laying the groundwork for a new era of independence and sovereignty. Minister Qaheem concluded with a prayer for Yemen's complete victory and sovereignty over its territories.
