Sana'a: A meeting was held on Sunday, chaired by the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, to discuss the status of the ministry's standard departments and ways to improve their performance.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry for the Public Works Sector, Engineer Ali Rajih, and the directors general of the standard departments. The meeting focused on reviewing the tasks and roles of these departments within the framework of the integration process.
During the meeting, the Minister of Transport and Public Works emphasized the commitment to raising the level of performance in all sectors and departments of the ministry. He stressed the importance of improving the conditions of their employees, which is expected to positively impact the development and enhancement of their performance.
Minister Qahim highlighted that developing institutional and functional performance, improving the level of services provided to the public, and facilitating access to these services are current priorities. These areas are central to the plans and programs of both the ministry and the government.
Furthermore, Minister Qahim urged all employees in the standard departments to redouble their efforts and work in a team spirit. He advocated for a unified and clear mechanism to raise the level of achievement for all tasks and work.
