Sanaa: A tribal reconciliation in the Sanaa governorate has successfully resolved a killing case between the Al Salimi family from the Bani Dhibyan district and the Al Al-Shami family from the Bilad Asnaf tribe in the Jihanah district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the reconciliation was supervised by the local authority in the governorate and the district, with the presence of district director Saleh Mueidh. Sheikh Abdul Malik Qasim, the sheikh of the Bilad Asnaf, led the reconciliation efforts. In a significant gesture, the blood relatives of the victim, Mohammed Saleh Al Shami from the village of Majwash, announced their pardon for the killer, Dhaifullah Muqbil Al Salimi from the Bani Dhibyan district, effectively waiving the case and closing its file permanently.
The pardon was declared as part of implementing the directives of the revolutionary leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al Din al Houthi, which focus on resolving social issues and restoring unity among tribes. The stance of the Al Al-Shami blood relatives in waiving and pardoning the killer was praised by attendees, who emphasized the importance of resolving social issues, promoting forgiveness and tolerance, and preparing to stand united against conspiracies by external adversaries.
The reconciliation event was attended by the district security director, Colonel Mohsen Al Qahoum, along with sheikhs and dignitaries from Khawlan Amma districts, highlighting the community's commitment to peace and unity.
