Hajja: A tribal reconciliation in Hajja Governorate today resolved a murder case between the Al-Omari family from Hujur in Kashar District and the Al-Jashman family from the Sufyan tribes in Amran Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the reconciliation was attended by a number of sheikhs and community figures from Amran, Sufyan, Kashar, and Hujur. It involved presenting compensation to the victim's heirs, Walid Mujahid Al-Omari, in the form of livestock and other customary reparations in line with Yemeni tribal traditions. The heirs forgave the perpetrator, Amin Abdulrab Al-Jashman, for the sake of God, in honor of the attendees, and donated the compensated items to fighters at the fronts defending Yemen's dignity and honor.
Sheikhs of Sufyan and Amran, including Ali Maqal, Nasher Qubool, and Yahya Al-Marani, praised the stance of the victim's heirs in pardoning the offender, responding to the call of Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to reconcile disputes and address community issues.
They also commended the sheikhs and tribes of Kashar and Hujur for waiving the case and closing the file permanently, affirming that this tribal gesture is consistent with the Al-Omari family and the Kashar and Hujur sheikhs' longstanding commitment to strengthening ties between Hujur and Sufyan tribes.
The participants appreciated the attention of the Leader's Office and the contributions of all involved in resolving the case, emphasizing that settling blood feuds and reconciling disputes reflects the leadership's efforts to unify the Yemeni tribes, consolidate internal cohesion, and reinforce solidarity against Yemen's enemies.
Meanwhile, the victim's heirs and the sheikhs of Kashar and Hujur, including Yahya Al-Omari, Hamza Al-Zaakari, Mohammed Reiban, and Saif Masoud, affirmed that pardoning the offender was aimed at strengthening unity, implementing the Revolutionary Leader's call to resolve conflicts, enhancing internal resilience, and focusing on confronting the enemy.
