Marran: The people of Marran district in Saada governorate organized today an angry tribal vigil condemning the repeated American insults to the Holy Quran, the latest of which was an extremist in the United States burning a copy of the noble Quran, provoking the feelings of Muslims and violating Islamic sanctities.

According to Yemen News Agency, the American insults to the Holy Quran will only increase the Yemeni people's adherence to the Book of Allah and their firm stance in support of the nation's causes and sanctities. The statement of the tribal vigil condemned in the strongest terms the repeated insults to the Holy Quran, considering them a targeting of the holiest sanctities of all Muslims and a provocation to the feelings of more than two billion Muslims around the world.

The statement held the American regime and the administration of the state of Florida fully responsible for the recurrence of these crimes and for providing cover for such criminals under the guise of "freedom of expression," which represents official sponsorship of terrorism and extremist ideology against Islam and Muslims.

The statement affirmed the readiness of the Marran tribes to defend the Book of Allah and protect the sanctities with their lives and blood, calling on Islamic peoples and the free people of the world to break their silence, take serious and effective action to defend the Book of Allah, activate the weapon of comprehensive economic boycott of American goods and products, and pressure governments to cut relations with countries that sponsor the perpetrators of these crimes.
