Turkish President: Diplomacy Only Solution to Iranian Nuclear Issue

Istanbul: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has affirmed that diplomacy is the only solution to the Iranian nuclear issue, expressing his confidence that the Iranian government and people will overcome the current challenges through national unity and cohesion.

According to Yemen News Agency, this came during a meeting between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and the Turkish President in Istanbul, where Erdogan arrived Friday morning for consultations with senior Turkish political officials.

During the meeting, Araqchi praised Turkey's responsible approach to the Iranian nuclear file, emphasizing that Iran has never wavered from negotiations and dialogue based on mutual respect and acceptance of the legitimate interests and concerns of the Iranian people.

Referring to Ankara's ongoing consultations to reduce tensions and return to the path of diplomacy, the Turkish President stressed that the region cannot tolerate increasing insecurity, considering diplomacy the only solution to the Iranian nuclear issue. He affirmed Turkey's readiness to exert any serious efforts in this regard.
