Marib: A tweet campaign was launched at nine o’clock last night on the social networking site “X” to expose the crimes of the Islah Party against the kidnapped and prisoners. The campaign highlighted various allegations of human rights abuses, aiming to draw attention to the situation in Marib.
According to Yemen News Agency, the campaigners pointed out the multiple methods reportedly used by Islah mercenaries, including killing, torture, and enforced disappearance. These activities have allegedly transformed the prisons in Marib into centers of crime.
The tweeters further claimed that since the control of the aggression mercenaries over Marib, the city has seen a drastic change. Once a symbol of tribes and customs, it has reportedly become a hub for torture prisons. It is alleged that more than 20 such facilities exist, where conditions and practices are likened to those in Guantanamo and certain other notorious prisons.
