Ibb: Residents of Al-Jawaleh area in Mudhaykhirah District, Ibb Governorate, held a celebratory event on Monday marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. During the event, Director General of the Governorate's Community Initiatives Department Bandar Al-Ahdal highlighted the occasion as a reflection of Yemenis' deep connection with the Prophet, their sincere love for him, and adherence to his teachings and noble example.
According to Yemen News Agency, Mudhaykhirah District Director Maysarah Al-Nahari emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday renews loyalty and love for him, while strengthening adherence to his principles of mercy, justice, solidarity, and support for the oppressed. The event featured speeches and presentations that highlighted aspects of the Prophet's life and emphasized the importance of following his example to promote compassion, cooperation, and social solidarity.
In Al-Saddah District, the district branch of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance also organized a commemorative event attended by local, executive, security, and social figures. District Director Mohammed Al-Darwani noted that the occasion represents an opportunity to renew love and loyalty to the Prophet, follow his guidance, and draw inspiration from the values he embodied, including mercy, solidarity, benevolence, patience, steadfastness, and responsibility.
Branch Director Ali Al-Dheebani reviewed aspects of the Prophet's life and the values he established in building society, stressing the importance of following his path in supporting the oppressed and upholding justice, truth, goodness, compassion, and solidarity. Deputy District Security Director Lt. Col. Rajeh Amer added that celebrating the Prophet's birthday reflects love and loyalty to him, strengthens awareness of his character and life, and draws lessons from his experience in confronting challenges and building a cohesive society based on justice, benevolence, and compassion.
He further stated that the occasion recalls the values of dignity, freedom, and determination, while reaffirming adherence to the Holy Qur'an and the Prophet's path, as well as continued support for the causes and sanctities of the Muslim nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
