Bayda: Two mass rallies commemorate martyrdom of Imam Hussein: The cities of Bayda and Rada'a in Bayda governorate witnessed two mass rallies on Thursday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), under the slogan "Never shall we submit to humiliation."
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the rallies, which included residents from the districts of Bayda, Rada'a, al-Arsh, al-Riyashiyah, Wald Rabi', al-Qurashiyyah, Sabah, al-Shari'ah, rural Bayda, Mukayras, al-Sawma'ah, Dhi Na'im, al-Zahir, and Maswarah, and were led by Shura Council members Ali al-Jabri and Abdullah Al-Mudhaffari, chanted slogans condemning the aggression and the blockade, and affirming their commitment to following the path of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in confronting tyranny and arrogance.
The massive crowds participating in the two marches, which included the governor's deputies Abdullah al-Jamali, Yahya al-Mansouri, Saleh al-Jawfi, Ahmed al-Siqal, and Nasser al-Aji, affirmed the steadfastness of the province's residents and their readiness to sacrifice themselves and their resources in defense of the homeland and the nation.
The crowds declared a general mobilization and full readiness to implement any options adopted by the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to end the aggression and the blockade, and to confront any escalation targeting Yemen or the peoples of the nation and their vital causes.
The participants in the two marches called for a conscious and active joining of the axis of jihad and resistance, considering it the only genuine option for liberation from subjugation and subservience to the enemies of Islam, and for liberation from aggression, occupation, and the blockade. This, they asserted, would guarantee the Yemeni people their freedom and independence, enable them to benefit from their resources and wealth, and live with dignity and honor, free from guardianship, dependency, and foreign interference, thus achieving their desired renaissance based on their authentic faith-based identity.
They urged the free people of Yemen, in both the north and south, to unite, strengthen the home front, and work diligently and responsibly to confront the occupier until every inch of the homeland is liberated, its resources and sovereignty are restored, and full freedom and independence are achieved.
They expressed their pride in commemorating the anniversary, given their deep-rooted connection to the cause of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), which they consider a national cause from which they draw inspiration, upon which they build their visions, and in which truth is manifested in its purest form, steadfastness in its noblest arenas, and loyalty in its highest sense.
The assembled crowd affirmed that the Day of Ashura embodied the greatest test of loyalty, sincerity, and steadfastness when the nation succumbed to falsehood. They asserted that this scenario is being repeated today in Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, and Yemen, as the enemies of the nation continue to target free peoples, kill innocent civilians, and destroy homes and holy sites, all under a shameful international silence. This only intensifies the nation's responsibility to take conscious action, adopt a sincere stance, and stand firmly with the causes of truth and freedom.
They praised Yemen's honorable stances in supporting the nation's causes, considering this an authentic extension of Imam Hussein's approach in confronting tyrants and supporting the oppressed, and a practical embodiment of the spirit of Ashura, which does not break before tyranny, does not compromise on the truth, but rather goes to the fields of confrontation in defense of dignity, sovereignty, and identity.
