Sanaa: The Union of Popular Forces expressed its sincerest condolences and most genuine sympathy to the leadership and people of Iran on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Union explained that Sayyed Ali Khamenei ascended as a martyr along with a number of his colleagues in the Iranian leadership during the month of Ramadan, following a treacherous, brutal American-Zionist terrorist aggression that targeted the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It pointed out that Sayyed Khamenei ascended as a martyr after a career rich in sacrifice and jihad, confronting the forces of global arrogance and tyranny, restoring dignity and the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, the central cause of the Arab and Islamic nation and all free people of the world.
The Union of Popular Forces renewed its condemnation of the treacherous, criminal, terrorist American-Zionist aggression, which constitutes a violation of international law and blatant interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign state, threatening to destabilize the region and the world.
It stated that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran ascended as a martyr on the road to Jerusalem and passed on to his Lord, as he had sought martyrdom before the aggression and wrote his will for those after him, prepared to redeem his people, his homeland, and the Palestinian cause with his blood and soul. He attained martyrdom defending his country, his people, his religion, and the principles and values he believed in, in the face of American-Zionist injustice and arrogance. God chose martyrdom for him and selected him to ascend as a noble martyr, defending the nation, steadfast in the fields of honor and dignity.
The statement said, “Congratulations to him for the divine badge and the good ending. He sold himself to God and profited from the bargain, was true to his covenant with God, so God fulfilled His promise to him, and he proceeded with firm steps until he met his Lord with his head held high,” stating that the martyrdom of Sayyed Ali Khamenei will increase the strength and determination of the Iranian people. The path of jihad and defense of the truth will continue without retreat, and the message of the martyr will remain a beacon guiding generations.
It noted that the crime of targeting, at the same time, confirms that the blood of the martyrs will not be in vain, and that the revolutionary will embodied by the martyr will remain a flame guiding the nation, increasing the believers’ steadfastness and determination to face tyrants and the arrogant.
The statement called on countries and free people of the world to condemn the American-Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, stating that the time has come for all free people of the world to take a free and brave stand against American-Zionist arrogance.
The Union of Popular Forces concluded its statement by affirming that the immense sacrifices confirm that victory is coming, and what the enemy aims for behind this-preparing the ground to achieve the so-called “Greater Israel”-will backfire on them, heralding the demise of the usurping entity and the exit of American forces humiliated and driven out from the region, in accordance with the laws of God Almighty that do not change, alter, or shift.
