Al hudaydah: The University of Al Hodeidah has initiated field visits to introduce medical specializations to various scouting and model summer schools across the districts of Al Hudaydah city. These visits are part of a program launched under the slogan "My Future in My Hands - A Journey to Explore University and Higher Professional Specializations."
According to Yemen News Agency, University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahdal highlighted the enthusiastic participation and well-organized nature of the schools during the launch event. He elaborated that the initiative aligns with the Ministry of Education, Teaching, and Scientific Research's plans and programs. The goal is to provide introductory courses on university specializations, thereby guiding students towards suitable scientific and professional paths.
Dr. Al-Ahdal stressed the significance of university education, with its focus on scientific, applied, and human specializations, in developing specialized cadres, fostering national advancement, and achieving self-sufficiency. He emphasized that knowledge and learning are rooted in divine guidance and Quranic culture, alongside medical sciences and scientific research, to support the development of the earth and counter adversaries.
The University President also detailed the available medical specializations for diploma and bachelor's degrees, including medicine and surgery, clinical pharmacy, and various medical sciences. He pointed out the role of summer courses in protecting younger generations from harmful cultures and soft wars, while raising awareness about the conspiracies against the nation.
The first day of field visits reached four summer schools in the city quadrant, facilitated by four academic teams. The visits were attended by the Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Izz al-Din Mu'adh; the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Mohammed Suhail; the Dean of the Faculty of Clinical Pharmacy, Dr. Khalil Al-Ma'amari; along with several other faculty members, their assistants, and the university's administrative and student staff.
