Kharif: The University of Science and Technology in Ibb Governorate held a cultural and speech event on Sunday to mark the anniversary of the Prophet's birth and honor top-performing students from various colleges and academic disciplines.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured speeches emphasizing the significance of the Prophet's teachings in education and community building. Member of Parliament Dr. Ali Al-Zanam highlighted the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birth anniversary, noting that honoring outstanding students serves to recognize academic excellence and motivate others.
Ibb General Mobilization official Abdul-Fattah Ghallab expressed that the occasion provides an opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet's values for societal development. He praised the integration of cultural and educational initiatives in recognizing outstanding students.
University Director Dr. Makram Al-Jamali stated that the event aligns with the university's programs promoting cultural awareness and ethical values among students. He reaffirmed the university's dedication to fostering excellence, creativity, and honoring exceptional achievements.
Student Forum representative Abdul-Hamid Al-Farrah remarked on the students' appreciation for the event, emphasizing that the recognition of top achievers inspires all students to strive for academic success.
The event was attended by Deputy University Director Dr. Badr Al-Farrah, along with academics, staff, and students. It featured poetry, chants, and religious hymns celebrating the occasion.
