Al-dhale': The people of Al-Dhale' province gathered on Thursday in a massive popular festival held at the two 'Messenger the Greatest' squares in Damt and Al-Hasha districts to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, unprecedented human waves poured in from villages and communities across the governorate into the two celebration squares, carrying banners and slogans highlighting the significance of this blessed religious occasion. Crowds from Damt and Juban districts flocked to the Messenger the Greatest Square in Damt, while people from Al-Hasha and Qa'atabah converged on the square in Al-Hasha, amid organized arrangements that facilitated their arrival, crowning the series of celebrations the governorate has witnessed on this great occasion.
With their massive turnout at the two central events, the people of Al-Dhale' embodied their connection to the Messenger of Humanity, following his words and deeds, in a faith-driven Yemeni message affirming that Yemenis are the people of faith and support, and the symbol of pride, strength, and resilience. The Muhammadan scene witnessed in the governorate reflected unity and cohesion around the Messenger of Allah, expressing the Yemenis' historic devotion to him, their commitment to following his path, and the deep-rooted place of this occasion in their collective consciousness.
The crowds mirrored the profound spiritual value of the Prophet's birthday in their hearts, as a renewed faith-based station from which Yemenis draw the principles and values brought by the noble Messenger. The celebration became a Yemeni icon of love and loyalty to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), affirming their identity as the people of faith, strength, defenders of the Qur'an and the Messenger, proud to revive his birth anniversary.
Participants drew a powerful spiritual portrait, embodied in the unprecedented official and popular presence from this proud and steadfast governorate. They chanted praises and expressions of joy at the birth of the Chosen One, reaffirming adherence to the morals, qualities, and path of the Prophet, voicing support for the Palestinian people, and raising the slogan of disavowal from the enemies of God.
The crowds in both squares - attended in Al-Hasha by the Acting Governor of Al-Dahle', Abdul Latif Al-Shughdari, and in Damt by deputy governors, the mobilization chief, and executive, security, military, and social figures - affirmed that celebrating the birth of the Prophet is a message to the world: that Yemenis are proud of the Messenger and the Qur'an, no matter how the West attempts to separate them from their faith and Prophet.
They stressed that reviving this occasion unifies the Ummah and strengthens its faith-based identity, especially amid the genocide, siege, and starvation suffered by the people of Gaza. They emphasized the need for the Ummah to follow the Prophet's methodology to achieve dignity, honor, victory, and empowerment over its enemies.
They pointed out that giving this occasion its due celebration is the best response to crimes such as burning copies of the Qur'an and repeated insults against the Prophet and Islamic sanctities. The people of Al-Dhale' reaffirmed that celebrating the birth of the Best of Mankind, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), marks a launchpad for the unity of the Ummah, particularly in light of the aggression, blockade, and starvation imposed on Palestine and Gaza by the criminal Zionists.
The massive crowds further affirmed that connection to the Prophet is connection to the Divine path, and that celebrating the Prophet's birthday is a celebration of the message of Islam, a means of linking generations to their Prophet, drawing inspiration from his life, and applying it in practice. The celebration also stood as a clear message to those who attempt to undermine the Prophet's character: behind this Messenger stands a nation that takes pride in, defends, and sacrifices for him.
