Sana'a: On this day, August 5, US-Saudi-Emirati aggression aircraft launched a series of airstrikes targeting citizens' farms and properties, tourist facilities, health facilities, and mosques, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens.
According to Yemen News Agency, on August 5, 2015, two girls and their father were injured as a result of two airstrikes by the aggression aircraft on the house of citizen Yahya Abdullah Al-Qasimi in the city of Dhahyan, Majz District, Saada Governorate. The aircraft also carried out two airstrikes on the house of citizen Abdullah Al-Hassouni in the Al-Talh area of Sahar District, completely destroying it, and two airstrikes on a health unit in the city of Dhahyan. In the same governorate, the aggression aircraft targeted the Al-Darah area in Haydan District and the Bani Muadh area in Sahar District, destroyed three mosques in the Al-Far' area of Kitaf District, while the enemy army targeted the Al-Ghawr area in Ghamr District with artillery shells and shelled other border areas with missiles and artillery.
Six citizens from one family were martyred and others injured in an airstrike by the aggression aircraft on a citizen's house near the National University in the city of Taiz. The hostile aircraft also targeted the house of citizen Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Junaid near Aqabah Mosque in the Al-Askari neighborhood with an airstrike, and launched another airstrike on the Sabr Al-Mawadim Road "Sa'ilat Al-Nimr" beneath Zayed Park, cutting off the main road. The aggression aircraft launched an airstrike on the Al-Arous site atop Jabal Sabr and another on the Al-Kamb area in Taiz. It also targeted Al-Anad Air Base in Lahj Governorate with more than 25 airstrikes and struck the Al-Husseini, Al-Anad, and Al-Basatin areas with several additional airstrikes.
The aggression aircraft launched airstrikes on the Wadi Haradh and Al-Majbar areas in Haradh District, Hajjah Governorate, six airstrikes on Mas Camp, two airstrikes on Wadi Al-Jufainah, and airstrikes on the Old Dam and the Al-Ashraf area west of the city of Marib. On August 5, 2016, six citizens from one family, including two children, were martyred, and three others, including one child, were injured in an airstrike by the aggression aircraft on the vehicle of citizen Salem Al-Qaradi on the main road in Baqim District, Saada Governorate. The aircraft also targeted Al-Baha Market in the same district with an airstrike.
Two women were martyred and four other citizens, including children, all from one family, were injured in an airstrike by the aggression aircraft on the house of citizen Zaid Ahmed Al-Faraj in the village of Um Shaitbah in the Al-Majawhah area, Nihm District, Sana'a Governorate. In Al-Jawf Governorate, the aggression aircraft launched 20 airstrikes on the Al-Adbah, Al-Ardi, and Jabal Aybar areas in Al-Ghayl District, causing extensive damage to citizens' homes and farms. It also destroyed the Grand Mosque in the village of Al-Ghayl with an airstrike, launched one airstrike on the Al-Saqiyah area in Al-Maslub District, and two airstrikes on the Al-Aqabah area in Khabb wa Al-Sha'af District.
The hostile aircraft carried out two airstrikes on the village of Qamar and two on Dar Al-Nasr in Al-Khubah in Jizan, three airstrikes on Al-Khawkhah District in Al-Hodeida Governorate, two of which targeted the Jumaan Tourist Hotel and Resort and one struck its surroundings. It also launched two airstrikes on the Technical Institute in the district. The aggression aircraft launched two airstrikes on Mustaba District in Hajjah Governorate and three airstrikes on the Al-Marhah area in Amran Governorate.
The mercenaries of the aggression shelled various areas of Nihm District in Sana'a Governorate with missiles and artillery, as well as a number of areas in Harib Al-Qaramish District in Marib Governorate. In Taiz Governorate, the mercenaries targeted the Al-Qashubah area in Al-Wazi'iyah District with artillery, while the aircraft launched three airstrikes on the Al-Omari area and the city of Dhubab. The aggression aircraft targeted the Rashahah area in Al-Buqa', Saada Governorate, with three airstrikes, and Kahboub schools in Al-Mudarabah District, Lahj Governorate, with two airstrikes.
On August 5, 2017, the aggression aircraft targeted various areas in Kitaf District with 11 airstrikes, Baqim District with nine airstrikes, and launched one airstrike on the Maran area in Haydan District, Saada Governorate. The aircraft launched three airstrikes on the Al-Mahaqirah area in Sanhan and Bani Bahloul District, Sana'a Governorate, causing extensive damage to citizens' homes and properties. The aggression aircraft launched two airstrikes on Talat Al-Manzharah in Al-A'bous, Hayfan District, one airstrike on the Al-Barah area in Maqbanah District, Taiz Governorate, one airstrike on the eastern outskirts of Al-Matun District in Al-Jawf Governorate, targeted Haradh and Midi districts in Hajjah Governorate with 13 airstrikes, and dropped illumination bombs on Al-Khawkhah District in Al-Hodeida Governorate.
On August 5, 2019, a number of citizens were injured as a result of four airstrikes launched by the aggression aircraft on the city of Amran, which also caused damage to homes and private property. The aircraft also launched two airstrikes on Harf Sufyan District, one of them targeting the Al-Adi area in Wadi Madhab. In Saada Governorate, the hostile aircraft targeted various areas in Baqim District with three airstrikes and Kitaf District with two airstrikes, causing damage to citizens' properties, while various border districts were subjected to missile and artillery shelling that affected citizens' properties and public roads. The mercenaries targeted the Al-Fazah area in Al-Tuhayta District and Al-Hodeida International Airport with dozens of missile and artillery shells.
On August 5, 2020, the aggression aircraft launched five airstrikes on various areas in Khabb wa Al-Sha'af District in Al-Jawf Governorate. The armed reconnaissance aircraft launched four airstrikes on the city of Al-Durayhimi in Al-Hodeida Governorate, while the mercenaries established combat fortifications in Al-Jabaliyah and Al-Durayhimi and shelled various areas in the governorate with 103 artillery shells and various types of gunfire. On August 5, 2021, one citizen was injured in Saudi missile and artillery shelling on the border district of Shada in Saada Governorate.
The aggression aircraft launched four airstrikes on Sirwah District in Marib Governorate, while the reconnaissance aircraft carried out one airstrike on Al-Durayhimi District in Al-Hodeida Governorate. The mercenaries established combat fortifications in Hays and Al-Tuhayta districts and shelled several areas in the governorate with 76 artillery shells and various types of gunfire. On August 5, 2022, one citizen was injured when a landmine left behind by the aggression exploded while he was carrying out his daily work on his farm in Al-Durayhimi District, Al-Hodeida Governorate. The reconnaissance aircraft launched four airstrikes on Hays District.
The mercenaries shelled the areas of Al-Balaq Al-Sharqi and Mala'a in Marib Governorate, Haradh and Bani Hassan in Hajjah Governorate, Al-Madafin, Al-Malahidh, and Munabbih in Saada Governorate, Al-Jabaliyah in Al-Tuhayta District, east and southeast of Hays in Al-Hodeida Governorate, and Jabal Tuwayliq, Al-Amoud in Wadi Jarah, and Al-Kamb Al-Qadim in Jizan with artillery. The mercenaries also opened fire on various areas in the governorates of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Al-Dhalea, Al-Hudaydah, and the border fronts.
On August 5, 2023, the reconnaissance aircraft launched four airstrikes, while the mercenaries shelled various areas in Al-Hodeida Governorate with artillery and various types of gunfire.
