Sana’a: On this day, October 31, the air force of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched a series of air raids on various provinces, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of several civilians and causing extensive destruction to infrastructure and citizens’ properties.
According to Yemen News Agency, on October 31, 2015, the aggression’s air force carried out multiple airstrikes in the Nihm District of Sana’a Governorate, damaging agricultural lands, and in Taiz city, impacting public and private properties. The series of airstrikes continued in Ibb Governorate, causing damage to several citizens’ houses.
By October 31, 2016, the aggression’s operations intensified with 11 airstrikes targeting neighborhoods in Taiz city, while additional strikes in Mocha and Sana’a Governorate caused significant damage to public infrastructure. The air force’s destruction of the Silahah bridge in Al-Mahwit Governorate disrupted traffic and damaged nearby buildings.
The following year, on October 31, 2017, eight citizens were martyred and 25 others injured in Sana’a Governorate due to six airstrikes. The aggression’s air force also targeted areas in Nihm District, destroying a mosque and a house, while a water project in Hamdan District suffered major damage.
On October 31, 2018, agricultural areas in Al-Mahwit and Al-Hodeida Governorates were subjected to airstrikes, causing extensive damage to citizens’ farms. The aggression continued targeting districts in Hajjah and Saada Governorates, alongside rocket and artillery shelling in Baqim District.
By October 31, 2019, the aggression had led to injuries from Saudi army fire in Saada Governorate, and further airstrikes were reported in Hajjah and Asir. In Al-Hodeida Governorate, ongoing shelling affected various areas, with mercenaries using artillery and firearms.
On October 31, 2020, airstrikes in Marib, Al-Jawf, and Hajjah Governorates were reported, alongside spy aircraft operations in Al-Hodeida Governorate. Saudi rocket and artillery shelling in Saada Governorate further damaged citizens’ properties.
The aggression persisted on October 31, 2021, with casualties reported in Saada Governorate from Saudi army fire. The air force launched several strikes across Marib and Al-Jawf Governorates, while mercenaries established combat fortifications and conducted shelling in Al-Hodeida Governorate.
By October 31, 2022, the aggression’s activities included spy aircraft airstrikes and the establishment of combat fortifications by mercenaries in Al-Hodeida Governorate, with continued artillery shelling affecting several areas.
