Hajjah: On this day, December 31, the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched a series of airstrikes on several governorates, resulting in martyrs and wounded, and the destruction of public and private property.
According to Yemen News Agency, on December 31, 2015, 15 citizens, including children and women, were martyred as a result of two airstrikes carried out by the aggression's aircraft on the home of a citizen, also hitting a number of neighboring houses in Khairan Al-Muharraq District in Hajjah Governorate. The aggression's aircraft carried out multiple airstrikes across Dhamar, Al-Jawf, and Marib Governorates, targeting areas such as Jabal Al-Suhaib and Al-Mokha Port, causing widespread destruction.
In Saada Governorate, various areas were targeted with missiles and artillery by the Saudi army, alongside a series of airstrikes. The aggression's aircraft also targeted Al-Bayda and Amran Governorates, causing significant material damage to private property. The capital's Bani Al-Harith District saw airstrikes damaging citizens' homes, while a mosque in Sana'a Governorate was destroyed.
The following year, December 31, 2016, saw the aggression's aircraft targeting a residential area sheltering displaced people in Dhubab, causing casualties and damage in multiple governorates, including Sana'a and Marib. Intense artillery and missile shelling by mercenaries resulted in additional destruction in various districts.
In 2017, airstrikes on December 31 resulted in the martyrdom of four citizens on a main road in Amran Governorate and further casualties in Marib and Hajjah Governorates. Airstrikes in Saada and Sana'a Governorates led to extensive damage to farms and residential areas.
The aggression continued on December 31, 2018, with airstrikes in Saada Governorate targeting citizens' homes, while in 2019, mercenaries used rockets and heavy artillery against citizens' homes in Hodeida Governorate. New fortifications by mercenaries were also reported in Bayt Al-Faqih District.
On December 31, 2020, Sana'a International Airport and Al-Dailami Air Base were targeted, alongside additional strikes in Marib and Hodeida Governorates. Reconnaissance aircraft and mercenaries established combat fortifications, leading to further shelling and destruction.
The attacks persisted into December 31, 2021, with airstrikes in Shabwa and Al-Bayda Governorates, causing damage to citizens' property. Combat fortifications and artillery shelling by mercenaries continued in Hodeida Governorate.
On December 31, 2022, artillery shelling by the Saudi army in Saada Governorate injured multiple individuals, including an African migrant. Mercenaries targeted several areas in Hodeida with artillery and gunfire.
The aggression's impact continued into December 31, 2024, with the explosion of remnants in Hodeida Governorate resulting in the martyrdom of three citizens.
