Sana'a: On this day, May 6, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and its mercenaries committed horrific crimes, killing and wounding dozens, including children and women, as a result of targeting civilian homes and infrastructure in several governorates.
According to Yemen News Agency, on May 6, 2015, 11 people were killed and 18 injured in airstrikes by the aggression on the police training center and neighboring homes in the city of Dhamar. The raids also destroyed several homes and damaged others.
Twenty-seven citizens were killed and four others were injured when the aggression's airstrikes targeted the home of Abdullah al-Ibbi in the city of Saada. Seven citizens were killed and four others from one family, including women and children, were injured in an airstrike on a citizen's home in the Kitaf district.
Eight citizens were also killed when the aggression's airstrikes targeted the Dahyan area in the Majz district. In the same governorate, the aggression's air force launched several raids on the border district of Baqim and several areas in the Sahar district, targeting infrastructure and public and private facilities.
The Saudi army bombed the Al-Qama area in the Haydan district with 30 missiles, the Al-Manzala area in the Adh Dhahir district with dozens of missiles, and the Al-Masna'a area in the Ghamr district with two missiles. Artillery shelling targeted the districts of Shada and Adh Dhahir.
On May 6, 2016, the aggression's mercenaries shelled several areas in the Nihm district in Sana'a governorate with artillery and Katyusha rockets. They fired towards the Malah area and shelled the districts of Hareem, Mubdah, and Bani Bariq in the district with medium and heavy weapons. The mercenaries also targeted Jabal Al-Ashqari, Al-Mukhdara, Al-Mashjah, Haylan, Wadi Malah, and Al-Qurad in the Sirwah district in Ma'rib governorate with artillery and missile shelling.
On May 6, 2017, the aggression's air force launched two airstrikes and dropped a cluster bomb on the Al-Najiba area east of Al-Mokha in Taiz governorate. They also launched more than 25 airstrikes on the Mawza' district, which was targeted by warships with five missiles.
On May 6, 2018, a child was killed and others from the same family were injured in a coalition airstrike targeting their home in Bayt al-Faqih District. In Sa'dah Governorate, a civilian was injured in a coalition airstrike on the Al-Ammar area of Al-Safra' District. The coalition also launched numerous airstrikes on various areas, causing significant damage.
On May 6, 2019, aggression aircraft launched two raids on Haradh district in Hajjah governorate, and Saudi missile and artillery shelling targeted various areas in Shada border district in Saada governorate. The mercenaries also shelled the Jabaliya and Al-Faza areas, south of Al-Tuhayta city, with 31 artillery shells and 12 Katyusha rockets.
On May 6, 2020, the coalition's air force launched three raids on the Sirwah district in Ma'rib governorate, causing damage to public and private property. On May 6, 2021, three civilians were killed and four others wounded by Saudi artillery shelling on the Al-Raqou area in the Munabbih district in Saada governorate.
On May 6, 2022, the aggression's spy aircraft launched two raids on Hays District, and mercenaries targeted several areas in Hodeida Governorate with missile and artillery shelling and various types of live ammunition. On May 6, 2023, reconnaissance aircraft launched eight raids on the Hays district of Al Hudaydah governorate, while mercenaries shelled various areas of the governorate with various types of live ammunition and established combat fortifications in the Maqbanah district of Taiz governorate.
