US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Marks Grim Anniversaries of Airstrikes Across Yemen

Sana'a: On this day in history, the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition's airstrikes resulted in devastating attacks against civilians in several Yemeni governorates, causing extensive loss of life and damage to property.

According to Yemen News Agency, on March 30, 2015, the coalition's aircraft launched airstrikes on displaced persons camps in Al-Mazraq, Haradh District, Hajjah Governorate, resulting in the deaths of 40 civilians and injuries to 250 others, primarily women and children. The following year, on March 30, 2016, airstrikes on residential neighborhoods in Taiz city injured five citizens and damaged numerous homes and public facilities.

In Al-Bayda and Al-Jawf governorates, airstrikes targeted multiple districts, while mercenaries set fire to Al-Amal Company for Roads and Bridges in Taiz Governorate. The relentless attacks continued into 2017, with artillery shelling in Saada Governorate killing four people and airstrikes targeting various locations, including farms in Al-Jawf Governorate.

On March 30, 2018, airstrikes claimed the lives of a farmer in Al-Hodeida Governorate and several citizens in Saada Governorate. The strikes also inflicted injuries and property damage across multiple districts. A year later, in 2019, airstrikes killed two citizens and injured another in Hajjah Governorate, with further damage reported in Sana'a Governorate.

In 2020, airstrikes on horse stables in Sana'a resulted in the death of a horse breeder and significant losses to Arabian horses. The attacks also targeted various districts in Al-Jawf, Marib, and Al-Hodeida governorates, causing injuries and damaging infrastructure.

The aggression persisted in 2021, with airstrikes and artillery shelling claiming lives and injuring citizens in Al-Hodeida Governorate. The following year, Saudi missile and artillery shelling injured five citizens in Saada Governorate, while reconnaissance aircraft launched airstrikes in Lahj Governorate.

Most recently, on March 30, 2023, reconnaissance aircraft launched airstrikes on districts in Taiz and Al-Hodeida governorates, with mercenaries continuing to shell areas with artillery and gunfire, marking another year of ongoing conflict and devastation in Yemen.
