Sanaa: On October 22nd in history, the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition carried out operations against Yemen, resulting in significant civilian casualties and widespread destruction of property. According to Yemen News Agency, on October 22, 2015, a series of airstrikes in the Saada province led to the death of one civilian and injuries to two others. In the same area, Saudi missile and artillery attacks caused extensive damage to homes and farms. Further strikes in Hajjah province claimed the lives of two more citizens and damaged numerous residential and governmental structures in the city of Haradh. The aggression continued with multiple airstrikes in Taiz city, targeting the vicinity of a vocational institute, residential buildings, and public facilities, causing severe damage. Similar attacks were reported in the Waalan area of Sana'a province, where citizens' farms were significantly affected. In 2016, airstrikes in Jawf province resulted in the death of citizen Fayez Hamoud Al-Qatwani and caused further d estruction in neighboring regions. Marib province experienced similar assaults with raids targeting farms and properties. The following year, in 2017, saw repeated air raids in Sana'a, Saada, and Hajjah provinces, leading to extensive damage to public and private properties. The aggression was marked by targeted airstrikes that continued to devastate the regions' infrastructure and civilian areas. By 2018, the conflict had intensified with reports of detainee deaths due to torture in Marib. Across various provinces, airstrikes and artillery shelling continued unabated, inflicting further harm on citizens' homes and farms. The attacks persisted into 2019, with mercenaries shelling multiple locations in Hodeida province using heavy artillery and rocket fire. This relentless assault caused significant disruptions to the lives of ordinary Yemenis. In 2020, the aggression aircraft launched numerous raids across Marib, Jawf, and Saada provinces, while spy aircraft conducted operations in Hodeida. This year mark ed an escalation in the intensity of the attacks, with a considerable number of artillery shells and gunfire reported. By 2021, the Marib province witnessed 17 air raids, leading to substantial damage to civilian properties. Similar patterns of aggression were observed in Saada and Jawf provinces, with continued airstrikes and artillery shelling. Most recently, in 2022, mercenaries targeted Hodeida province with various types of gunfire, reflecting the ongoing instability and the humanitarian crisis exacerbated by years of conflict in Yemen.
