US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression on February 24 Results in Casualties and Infrastructure Damage

Sana’a: On this day, February 24, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched air and ground raids on various governorates, resulting in fatalities, injuries, and the destruction of infrastructure and private properties.

According to Yemen News Agency, on February 24, 2016, a missile attack by the Saudi army in the Ghafira area of the Dhaher district in Sa’ada governorate led to the death of a woman and injured eight others. Missile attacks were also reported in the Razih border district. Additionally, enemy aircraft conducted three raids on a health center in the Badbdah district of Marib governorate, injuring two citizens and completely destroying the facility. Raids continued in other regions, targeting markets and sites, resulting in more casualties and property damage.

On February 24, 2017, four citizens were killed, and three were injured when aggression’s aircraft targeted a restaurant in Al-Barh market in the Maqbana district of Taiz governorate. The aircraft launched multiple raids across other districts, causing further destruction and loss of life. In Sa’ada governorate, several areas were targeted by airstrikes, and in Sana’a governorate, the Ghulat Al-Hanashat area suffered an air raid.

The aggression continued on February 24, 2018, with two citizens injured in six air raids on a water drilling rig in Sa’ada governorate’s Sahar district. The attacks also led to property damage and casualties in other districts. Raids and artillery shelling were reported across multiple governorates, affecting citizens’ homes and livestock.

On February 24, 2019, airstrikes by aggression aircraft in Sana’a governorate’s Nihm district killed three women and an elderly man, injuring five others from one family. In Hajjah governorate, two citizens were killed by an airstrike. Mercenaries continued to shell residential neighborhoods and villages, causing widespread distress and damage.

The aggression’s air force launched several raids on February 24, 2020, targeting districts in Al-Jawf and Sana’a governorates. Mercenaries targeted residential areas and farms with various weapons, resulting in property damage and civilian injuries. Military fortifications were established by mercenaries, heightening tensions in the affected regions.

On February 24, 2021, five citizens were injured by Saudi border guard fire in Sa’ada governorate. The aggression’s aircraft launched raids in several districts, and mercenaries continued to shell areas in Hodeida governorate with artillery and live ammunition, causing further damage and insecurity.

February 24, 2022, saw more casualties and damage due to Saudi artillery shelling in Sa’ada governorate. A citizen was killed in an attack by a spy plane in Hajjah governorate, with mercenaries creating combat fortifications and bombing various areas. Aggressor aircraft executed multiple raids across the region.

On February 24, 2023, aggression’s spy aircraft conducted a raid in Taiz governorate, while mercenaries established combat fortifications in Hodeida governorate and shelled various areas, perpetuating the cycle of violence and destruction.
