US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Results in Casualties and Destruction on July 16

Sana'a: On this day, July 16, the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched numerous airstrikes across various governorates, leading to loss of life, injuries, and vast destruction of both public and private properties, as well as infrastructure.

According to Yemen News Agency, on July 16, 2015, an airstrike targeting the Al-Ansi neighborhood and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building in the Asr area of the Capital Sana'a resulted in the martyrdom of a girl and injuries to seven citizens. Multiple airstrikes also impacted several areas and residential neighborhoods within the Secretariat.

Hostile aircraft conducted eight airstrikes on Basuhaib Hospital in Al-Tawahi, Al-Mualla area, Al-Kara roundabout in Dar Saad, and Al-Masa'been area in Aden Governorate. In Saada Governorate, Razih District was targeted with illumination bombs, while Al-Shaaf area in Saqain District, Baqim District, and Munabbih District faced airstrikes, causing destruction to shops, a school, a health unit, and a mosque.

The aggression aircraft struck the government complex in Khamis Mustaba, Hajjah Governorate, and launched strikes on Al-Zahir District and Al-Hazm District in Al-Jawf Governorate. On July 16, 2016, ten people, including children, were killed in an airstrike on a vehicle in Nihm District, Sana'a Governorate, with additional airstrikes on various areas of the district.

Further airstrikes hit the Al-Khabwah area and Haid Al-Nadharah area in Sirwah District, Marib Governorate, while mercenaries shelled various regions of the same district with artillery and missiles. Hostile aircraft targeted Harib Nihm area in Sana'a Governorate, with mercenaries continuing missile attacks on Malh, Bani Bariq, and Al-Dhaboua areas.

In Sirwah District, Marib Governorate, Hailan area was hit by an airstrike, with additional strikes on a flock of sheep in Bart Al-Anan District, Al-Jawf Governorate, Haradh District, Mustaba District in Hajjah Governorate, and Al-Huwaimi area in Karsh District, Lahj Governorate. On July 16, 2017, three airstrikes on a stone crusher in Bajil District, Al-Hodeida Governorate, caused material damage, with further airstrikes on Kamaran Island resulting in the destruction of a residential city under construction.

Airstrikes targeted Sirwah District in Marib Governorate, Khaled Camp in Mawza District, Taiz Governorate, and Wadi Jarah in Jizan. Saada Governorate faced airstrikes on Al-Buqa Desert, Al-Dhahir District, and Shada District, alongside Saudi missile and artillery shelling in Razih District.

On July 16, 2018, airstrikes in Zabid District, Al-Hodeida Governorate, resulted in the martyrdom of six citizens. The attacks continued in Al-Jarahi District, targeting vehicles, including a passenger bus. Airstrikes also targeted stone crushers in Bajil District, and various districts of Al-Hodeida Governorate saw continued attacks.

In Al-Jawf Governorate, a citizen was injured on his farm due to mercenary shelling, while Saudi missile and artillery shelling claimed the lives of three children in Shada District, Saada Governorate. Similar shelling affected residential areas in Razih and Munabbih districts, alongside multiple airstrikes on Baqim, Allaf, Al-Souh, and Kataf Districts.

Numerous airstrikes were launched in the following years, impacting areas in Rahabah District, Marib Governorate, and the border district of Shada in Saada Governorate. Armed reconnaissance aircraft launched strikes on Al-Barah in Maqbanah District, Taiz Governorate, and Subairah in Al-Dhalea Governorate on July 16, 2022.

On July 16, 2024, a citizen was martyred by Saudi enemy fire in the Al Al-Sheikh area of the border district of Munabbih in Saada Governorate.
