Sana’a: On February 25, a historical reflection unveils the war crimes committed by US-Saudi-Emirati forces, which targeted residential neighborhoods, farms, and roads, resulting in civilian casualties and significant destruction of property.

According to Yemen News Agency, on February 25, 2016, air raids by aggressors resulted in the martyrdom of four civilians and injuries to four others in the Dimnat Khadir district of Taiz governorate. The attacks damaged homes and public property, with additional raids occurring in the Haifan district. In the Al-Sab’een district of the capital, airstrikes led to the martyrdom of Mohammed Al-Ibi and injuries to four others, including a woman and a child, causing severe damage to nearby homes.

The aggression continued with airstrikes on various areas, including severe damage in Attan, Al-Nahdain, and Al-Sab’een, and further devastation in the Sa’wan area of Azal district. In Sa’ada governorate, airstrikes in the Bani Ma’in area resulted in injuries to two women and the loss of a child. A series of airstrikes in multiple governorates, including Lahj, Sana’a, and Marib, caused extensive damage to agricultural lands and citizens’ properties.

In 2017, airstrikes in the Taiz Governorate resulted in the deaths of five children and targeted infrastructure including schools and farms. The aggressors launched numerous airstrikes in other regions, causing further casualties and destruction of homes and farms. In 2018, similar attacks led to civilian casualties and damage in Sa’ada and other governorates.

The aggression persisted in subsequent years, with continued airstrikes and shelling causing deaths, injuries, and property destruction. In 2019 and 2020, artillery shelling and airstrikes across multiple districts resulted in civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure, with reports of mercenaries targeting various locations intensifying the conflict.

The violence continued into 2021 and 2022, with airstrikes and artillery shelling resulting in civilian deaths and injuries, including African immigrants caught in the crossfire. The aggressors’ tactics included creating combat fortifications and launching repeated airstrikes, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.

The 2023 attacks saw the continuation of aerial assaults and fortification efforts by mercenaries, maintaining the cycle of violence and destruction in the region. The ongoing conflict highlights the enduring impact of these aggressive acts on the civilian population and infrastructure.
