US-Saudi-Emirati Airstrikes Cause Casualties and Damage Across Multiple Yemeni Provinces

Sanaa:Various provinces in Yemen were targeted by the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression on this day, October 5, resulting in casualties and extensive destruction.

According to Yemen News Agency, on October 5, 2015, airstrikes in the Razih border district of Saada Province injured three citizens, including a child. Multiple areas in the Ghamr and Baqim districts were also targeted, causing significant damage to homes and properties. The aggression aircraft continued their assault in Saada, targeting the Martyrs' Nursery, Al Qama area, and Al Shabaka Mountain, among other locations, resulting in further destruction.

In the Capital Secretariat, airstrikes hit Faj Attan, Al-Hafa, and Nuqum areas, as well as the densely populated Al-Tahrir area, causing severe damage to homes and infrastructure. The attacks extended to Hodeida Province, where a fish landing center was destroyed, and several fishermen's boats were damaged.

The aggression aircraft also targeted several districts in Taiz, Al-Bayda, and Marib provinces, leading to destruction and damage to public and private property. In Al-Jawf Province, two citizens were martyred, and three others injured, while a de-escalation committee member was targeted, resulting in multiple fatalities.

Over the years, similar aggressive actions continued with devastating consequences. On October 5, 2016, airstrikes in Hodeidah Province resulted in a citizen's martyrdom and significant damage to various facilities. In Saada Province, airstrikes and rocket shelling caused casualties and destruction to properties.

By October 5, 2017, airstrikes had led to the deaths of a girl and her father in Saada, while other areas in Taiz and Hajjah provinces witnessed numerous airstrikes. The attacks persisted in subsequent years, causing injuries and fatalities, including incidents involving children affected by unexploded ordnance.

As of October 5, 2023, the aggression continued, with a citizen martyred by Saudi forces' fire in the border district of Shada in Saada Province, underscoring the ongoing humanitarian crisis and instability in the region.
