By 2018, the coalition's actions led to the deaths of civilians in Hajjah Governorate and extensive destruction in Sa'dah Governorate.
In 2019, artillery shelling and airstrikes targeted markets and residential areas in Saada and Hodeida governorates, resulting in civilian casualties and infrastructure damage. The use of heavy and medium weapons by mercenaries further exacerbated the situation.
The aggression persisted in 2020, with airstrikes in Ma'rib, Bayda, Saada, and Amran governorates causing property damage. Mercenaries also shelled areas in Hodeida Governorate, intensifying the humanitarian crisis.
