In 2016, airstrikes targeted strategic locations like Haylan Mountain in Marib Governorate, while mercenaries shelled civilian homes and farms. Multiple raids in Jawf and Sana'a governorates resulted in extensive damage to civilian infrastructure and properties.
The year 2017 witnessed coalition airstrikes in Taiz, Sana'a, and Saada governorates, leading to civilian casualties and widespread damage to homes and public properties. In Marib Governorate, coalition raids damaged civilian farms, while mercenary shelling continued in various districts.
