SANAA: On February 6, numerous citizens were killed and injured, and significant damage was inflicted upon both private and public property as a result of raids launched by the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression on various Yemeni governorates. Over the years, these assaults have left a trail of destruction and human suffering in their wake.
According to Yemen News Agency, on February 6, 2016, the aggression’s aircraft launched raids that claimed the lives of a woman and her three daughters in the Habil Aswad area of Taiz governorate. Additional strikes in the city of Dhubab led to the death of two citizens. The aggression also targeted infrastructure, damaging roads and causing further destruction in areas like Mocha junction and various districts in Sana’a governorate.
In 2017, the aggression continued with airstrikes resulting in the death of four citizens in Sa’ada governorate when a gas truck and a citizen’s car were targeted. Multiple airstrikes across several districts, including Marib and Jawf, caused extensive damage to citizens’ farms and properties.
The pattern persisted in 2018, with nine citizens killed in Amran governorate following an airstrike on a main road. Numerous raids across Sa’ada, Jizan, and Marib governorates resulted in casualties and significant damage to civilian infrastructure and agricultural lands. The use of cluster bombs was also reported in Marib governorate.
On February 6, 2019, artillery shelling by mercenaries injured civilians and damaged properties in Hodeida governorate. Airstrikes and artillery fire across various regions continued to wreak havoc, causing injuries and destruction to citizens’ homes, farms, and public infrastructure.
In 2020, the violence did not abate, with mercenaries firing artillery shells and machine guns, injuring civilians in Hodeida city. Airstrikes in Marib, Jawf, and Sa’ada governorates added to the destruction, impacting populated villages and causing further civilian harm.
The aggression’s aircraft launched multiple raids on February 6, 2021, in Marib and Hodeida governorates, amplifying the existing devastation. Combat fortifications were created by mercenaries, contributing to the ongoing conflict and instability in the region.
The following year, in 2022, the aggression’s raids continued to target various governorates, resulting in injuries and destruction in Sa’ada, Hajjah, and Sana’a. The use of artillery and missile fire by the Saudi army and mercenaries exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in the affected areas.
On February 6, 2023, the mercenaries continued their aggressive actions by creating combat fortifications and bombing numerous areas in Taiz and Hodeida governorates, further deteriorating the living conditions of the citizens and causing significant distress.
