Marib: The war media has released footage showing the downing of a US MQ9 aircraft as it conducted hostile missions over the airspace of Marib province. The footage captures the sequence of events, from the aircraft being tracked to the moment it was hit by a locally-manufactured surface-to-air missile. The video further shows the aircraft igniting and descending, along with footage of the remaining debris scattered across the province.
According to Yemen News Agency, the announcement came from the armed forces, who stated that their air defense systems successfully intercepted and downed the US MQ9 drone while it violated Yemeni airspace. The incident marks the 16th aircraft to be shot down during the ongoing 'Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad' battle.
