Sanaa: The Water and Environment Committee of the House of Representatives convened a joint meeting on Saturday with representatives from the government, chaired by Hassan Suwaid, the head of the committee. According to Yemen News Agency, within the same parliamentary framework, the Defense and Security Committee also held a meeting. This session was chaired by Major General Mohammed Al-Hawri and attended by Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulmajeed Al-Murtada, along with several specialists from the ministry. The focus was on monitoring the implementation of the parliament's recommendations related to the Ministry of Interior as part of the government's program.
The Defense and Security Committee emphasized its commitment to continue monitoring the progress of these recommendations. They also requested updates on the ministry's achievements concerning its commitments under the government's program and the parliament's recommendations.
