Sana'a: The National Meteorological Center has forecasted scattered thunderstorms over the mountainous regions and hot to very hot weather in coastal plains and desert areas over the next 24 hours. According to the weather bulletin issued by the center, the weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy, with a chance of scattered showers accompanied by occasional thunderstorms in limited areas of the provinces of Sa'ada, Amran, Hajjah, Sana'a, and Mahweet.
According to Yemen News Agency, Additionally, mist is likely to form during the night and early morning hours over parts of the northwestern mountainous areas. The forecast indicates that the weather will generally be clear to partly cloudy, with dusty conditions, hot and humid in most areas.
In the coastal plains of Tihama, temperatures are expected to range from 34°C to 39°C, with winds reaching speeds of up to 25 knots along the western coast and Bab al-Mandab. In the desert regions, the weather is predicted to be mostly clear, hot to very hot, with maximum temperatures ranging from 35°C to 40°C, accompanied by active winds stirring up dust and sand.
The meteorological center has warned citizens about the hot and extremely hot conditions in the deserts and coastal plains, advising against traveling through flood-prone areas or crossing them during or after rainfall in the expected regions.
