Women’s Authority in Capital Secretariat Launches Annual Prophet’s Birthday Caravan

Muscat: The mobilization unit of the Women's Authority in Capital Secretariat launched on Saturday its annual caravan marking the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, in support of the armed forces.

According to Yemen News Agency, the caravan, which commenced from the Prophet's Birthday celebration square at the Military Academy, was valued at about 24 million rials and included cash, foreign currencies, gold, and silver. These contributions were presented in support of the armed forces, including missile, drone, and naval units.

Capital Secretariat mobilization official Ibtisam Al-Mahthouri noted that the caravan expresses joy at the Prophet's birthday and demonstrates devotion through giving and supporting armed forces personnel. Caravan official Khadija Al-Kabsi added that the initiative represents a message of gratitude to the armed forces and reflects the values of solidarity and generosity. She emphasized that Yemenis' commemoration of the Prophet's birthday extends beyond celebrations to practical acts of giving and support.

Al-Kabsi further mentioned that the caravan is part of a series of initiatives highlighting Yemeni women's role in providing support and reaffirming their commitment to standing alongside members of the armed forces. The officials emphasized that Yemenis' celebration of the Prophet's birthday is translated into giving, responsibility, and practical action inspired by his life, as well as the values of steadfastness, solidarity, and support for what they describe as the cause of truth.
