Sana'a: The Women's Authority in Ibb Governorate organized a central speech event on the occasion of the National Day of Resilience. During the event, speeches highlighted the importance of commemorating this day as a Yemeni epic of struggle that marked a significant turning point toward achieving independence and ending foreign tutelage and dependency.
According to Yemen News Agency, the speakers explained that Yemen's steadfastness-leadership, army, and people-over the past 11 years in confronting aggression and forces of global dominance and arrogance has made Yemen a key player in the equation of resistance against the nation's enemies and in supporting its causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
The speeches praised the positions of the revolutionary leadership and its choices, which have contributed to supporting the people of Gaza facing brutal Zionist aggression, amid a state of Arab and Islamic inaction. They noted that these stances are a natural outcome of the Yemeni people's resilience and steadfastness in confronting aggression.
The speakers also pointed to the progress and strength Yemen has achieved as a result of its resilience, and its ongoing efforts toward construction and development, particularly in the field of military manufacturing. They affirmed that Yemen, through its steadfastness, has become a symbol of dignity-one of the key pillars of the Qur'anic project.
The event featured chanting and poetic segments expressing the importance of resilience and steadfastness in maintaining positions on the nation's critical issues. Following the event, a women's rally was held in solidarity with the Iranian and Lebanese peoples, condemning what the statement described as U.S. aggression against Iran and Lebanon.
The rally's statement stressed the need for active mobilization in support of the Iranian and Lebanese peoples and standing by them in the face of attacks, reiterating support for the leadership in taking necessary measures to support them. The statement also noted that Zionist ambitions are not limited to Iran and Lebanon, but extend to various countries and peoples of the nation, emphasizing that what the region is facing comes within the framework of a comprehensive targeting of the nation.
