Taiz: The Women's Authority in Taiz Governorate organized a public speaking event today to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, participants emphasized the importance of commemorating Ashura to draw lessons and insights, especially amid what the nation is facing of a comprehensive struggle against Jews and Christians, led by 'America and Israel' and their regional allies.
They pointed out that the uprising of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), his revolution, and his sacrifice laid the foundation for a path of freedom, dignity, and steadfastness for the nation. They described his movement as a true continuation of the authentic Islamic path, an enduring voice of truth, a raised banner of Islam, a pure Qur'anic and Muhammadan approach that has illuminated generations throughout history.
The participants also affirmed that the Yemeni people will spare no effort in supporting their brothers in Palestine and will not retreat from their principled faith-based stance in upholding the Palestinian cause, in both land and sacred sites.
They further noted that the Yemeni people, known for their faith and wisdom, will remain vigilant against the enemies of Allah-Jews, Christians, their allies- will continue supporting Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, and all free people of the nation, within the framework of reinforcing the concept of the unity of arenas.
