Sana'a: The Women's Committee of Hamdan district in Sana'a organized a vocal event and a women's solidarity vigil in the Shamlan and Dala' localities today to commemorate the second anniversary of the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operation and to express support for the Palestinian people in Gaza.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants highlighted that the operation revived a spirit of struggle and reinforced national unity in support of the Palestinian cause and Islamic holy sites. Speakers at the event lauded the political and religious stance of the revolutionary leadership and reaffirmed the Yemeni people's moral and militant solidarity with the people of Gaza. They also called for a sincere return to God and adherence to the Quran as a means of confronting tyranny.

The event included patriotic chants and poems, followed by a solidarity vigil to honor martyrs and express support for the Palestinian resistance. A statement issued after the vigil described the operation as a legitimate, heroic Palestinian act born of decades of occupation, dispossession, and violations. The statement also condemned the ongoing violence and humanitarian crimes perpetrated by what they referred to as the Israeli enemy.

The statement further renewed solidarity with the Palestinian people and the Yemeni armed forces. It called for a broad boycott of Israeli goods and normalization partners, urged popular mobilization and protests, and demanded that Arab and Islamic governments fulfill their responsibilities to pressure the international community to halt the aggression and protect civilians.
